What does ICIS stand for?

International Crop Information System

What is ICIS?

It is a collection of databases (public and private), and associated query tools to help plant breeding programs with their bioinformatics needs by storing information related to the cultivars and data from field tests.

How much does ICIS cost?

The International Crop Information System is an open-source project and is under the General Public License (GPL). Hence it is distributed free of charge.

Who develops ICIS?

ICIS development is led by the IRRI-CIMMYT Crop Research Informatics Laboratory (CRIL) team, based in the Philippines and Mexico.
