Monitor Samples Planted

Overview

The Monitor Samples Planted form allows the user to manage (search,input,edit,delete) the status of samples planted (for characterization) during one cropyear. Criteria for searching includes the following: accession number, temporary ID, plot number, seedling/plant/harvest status, existence of panicle sample, and remarks. The user may request for a prooflist of samples planted during one cropyear.

2.2.0 Monitor Samples Planted

Use case description

This use case involves the management and monitoring of the status of selected samples for characterization. These samples are currently planted on different locations at one time (i.e. one cropyear)

Actor Action System Response
Step 1. Use case is initiated when the Actor specifies the criteria for searching samples planted Step 2. System retrieves all samples planted based on the criteria provided by the Actor
Step 3. Actor edits data of samples planted Step 4. System performs updates to the database
Step 5. Actor requests for a prooflist of samples planted Step 6. System produces the prooflist
Step 7. Use case is concluded when the Actor receives confirmation
