I'm Graham McLaren, Biometrician and Head of Crop Research Informatics Laboratory at IRRI and CIMMYT.

I am working on the development of the International Crop Information System ICIS and on its deployment for the International Rice Information System IRIS.

In the Generation Challenge Program I lead Task 28 of Sub-Program 4 - Quality of Existing Databases which includes activities on quality assurance, platfrom development and laboratory information systems.

I am also interested in the development of methodology and software for statistical analysis of Genotype x Environment data. In this regard I work with collaborators in the rainfed rice ecosystem of South and South-East Asia.
