GRIMS Seed Acquisition
The Seed Acquisition module involves the receipt and registration of seeds, initial seed increase, assignment of IRGC accession number, and the designation of seeds to the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), and the Multilateral System for Access and Benefit-Sharing (MLS) of the International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture. This module manages all the information given by the donor such as the passport and collection information. Additionally, inventory of the amount of seeds harvested from the successful and unsuccessful seed increase is initialized in this module, as well as the inventory of the remnants and original seed packets.
